Persons that become disciples of Phillips Chapel Missionary Baptist Church through the candidacy of water baptism should expect and proceed with the following instruction. Please note that baptism is implemented directly after Sunday school, prior to 10:45 am worship service on the 1st Sunday of each month.

  1. Person(s) will receive a phone call from a deaconess to confirm your participation of water baptism on the given 1st Sunday of the month. Deaconess will review with person(s) of the attire that one should have to be baptized in which consist of:
    White Clothing (if not another set of garments you don't mind getting wet)
    White Socks
    Hair Covering (for ladies that would like prevent getting hair wet, if all possible
  2. Note: Person(s) must meet with Chairman of Deacons or designated person prior to baptism.
    This is an informal meeting to affirm person(s) becoming disciples of Phillips Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
  3. After baptism person(s) will receive their Certificate of Baptism on that Sunday prior to taking communion. In the event, you have to leave before they are handed out please check with the Administrative Assistant to receive your document.
